The memorial service for Jeffery Wayne Buchanan was held on November 6, 2020 at 2:45pm at the Alabama National Cemetery. Buchanan was a Helicopter Pilot who was deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Enduring Freedom from March 20, 2003 to August 1, 2003 and died of a PTSD-related illness earlier this year and is the most recent addition to the Blue Star Salute Faces of the Price of Freedom Memo
The Blue Star Salute Foundation was represented by Tom and Dee Long, Chris and Lisa Melton, and Harry Sessamen. All five members also participated with the Patriot Guard Riders in the motorcade and the flag line.
