If you would like to do so, we ask that you print a copy of the return form below and send it back to us along with your annual membership of $25.00 by check or money order payable to BSSFI. In addition to our annual "Blue Star Salute" at a local venue where invited throughout Alabama, we coordinate to attend each deployment ceremony of Reserve and National Guard units which are called to active duty in the defense of America. At such ceremonies, we seek to give each deploying soldier a Blue Star Service Banner for their loved ones to display in their honor while away. When a service member is killed-in-action or dies of a non-hostile cause while serving honorably, we provide a memorial floral wreath for those service members and seek to attend such services.
All Foundation Officers, Board of Directors and event participants are volunteers and receive no payments or reimbursements for their travels or expenses. Your financial support and membership helps to defray the costs of the banners, wreaths and operational expenses of the Foundation and is sincerely appreciated.
